Pricing sits untouched. The books get behind, and left long enough, they turn into financial trouble. Processes stay stuck in someone’s head. Equipment keeps limping along.
‘Later’ feels responsible at the moment. But ‘later’ has interest, and that interest adds up quietly while you’re busy running the business.

Instead of asking, “Can this wait?” try asking, “What is this costing me every week I delay it?” That one question is really what small business cash flow management comes down to, asking it before the money’s already gone.
You don’t have to fix everything at once. Progress over perfection still counts. No one sets out to run a ‘no profit’ business. It happens one delayed decision at a time. But it’s time to stop pretending delay is free, because in most home service businesses, the biggest problems were never one bad decision. They were good decisions made too late.
